Memorial Day Parade
May 2004 starting in downtown Bloomington
About 45 McLean County Democrats turned out in very cold weather to be in the parade. McLean County Democrats participated in a ceremony
at the Vietnam and Korean memorial in laying a wreath on the marker. A Mother and Daughter just returned from Iraq carried the wreath forward. Mayor Chris Koos gave a commemorative speech followed by a 21 gun salute.
