It’s a sad Republican indeed who has lost his demon. With the collapse of the "Evil Empire" and the relapse of the Chinese into their historically robust merchantile enthusiasm, it’s gotten almost impossible to find a truly menacing "kom'nist" in today’s world. The Bush Administration has not only failed the country with its unsound and destructive economic and environmental policies, its assaults on a woman’s right to choose, and its unilateral dealings with world events but it has now turned its sights on destroying one of the most precious and valuable things this country has to offer the world, its outstanding college students. This President ran on being the, “Education President,” vowing to reform the educational system in America making it more accessible, efficient, and accountable. By all accounts he has failed miserably in just three years. |
